Job Accountabilities:
- Coordinate the insurance claims, to notify the insurance brokers and/or insurers with new claims, to provide all claim supporting documents and control claims status.
- Coordinate insurance renewal process and collection of renewal information. Control all types of company insurance.
- Coordinate Insurance Section team efforts. Work in a team oriented environment with input from all members to achieve the best possible result.
- Act as a focal point function for events organisation with Surveyors and Valuation Engineers, support liaison with the insurance representatives of Parent Companies, and any other ad-hoc support to insurance section area of business.
- Control that all insurance required to be maintained shall have such terms, conditions and limitations including policy amounts and deductibles as may from time to time be approved by JOC in accordance with International Good Oil Field Practice or agreed in writing by the Contractor and Authority.
Qualification requirements:
- Higher education (University degree or higher) in the relevant speciality and not less than 2 years of work experience in the lead specialist positions as per speciality or not less than 6 years of work experience in the specialist positions as per speciality
- Legal and regulative acts of ROK and international documents in insurance. Be aware of legal and regulative acts of ROK and international documents in Contracts and Procurement.
- Overall knowledge of contracts management and contractor agreement signing procedures.
- Rules on conducting inspections and documents revision.
- Basics on labour law of ROK.
- Understanding of JPC/JOC procedures and their application.
- Risk management methods and principals.
- Company organizational structure;
- Company key internal policies and procedures.
- Excellent computer skills;
- Process mapping and procedure writing.
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in English both verbally and in writing.
- Presentation and Report Writing skills. Auditing experience.
- Problem solving skills.
- Proven man-management and negotiation skills.
- Strong mentoring / coaching skills.
