Job Accountabilities:
- Reports to Company Logistics Safety team and undertake associated duties;
- Supervises all offshore Marine safety related activities;
- Taking part in all HSE activities in accordance with Company HSE policies and procedures;
- Responsible to keeping, tracking, recording, and filling the SAFE-R database and GRUVI database;
- Prepares HSE related notifications and letters for submission to offshore personnel;
- Responsible for planning and scheduling associated with Logistics Safety Management support to offshore Operations and Maintenance activities;
- Initiates and implement pro-active measures for continuous improvement of HSE performance within Logistics including contractor’s activities;
- Executes the role of HSE expertise when assigned as a member of incident investigation team member to ensure alignment with Company’s Incident Investigation & Reporting Procedure;
- Supports implementation of the Logistics HSE Plan, and supporting implementation of procedures, work instructions, etc. on site are satisfactorily on a day-to-day basis.
Qualification requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Advanced professional level in Safety Management desirable;
- 3-5 years of relevant experience in Logistics Safety Management disciplines;
- Valid BOSIET Certificate (Basic Offshore Safety Induction& Emergency Training);
- Knowledge of logistics systems and processes, preferably in the Oil & Gas industry;
- Knowledge of RoK Statutory Health, Safety & Environmental Laws/Regulations;
- Knowledge of RoK and international HSE codes, standards, rules and regulations;
- Knowledge of HSE information systems and ability to establish and maintain it;
- Knowledge of RoK Cargo Transportation, Lifting operations, Dangerous Goods regulations;
- Knowledge of ISO 9001 Quality Management System, ISO 14001 Environmental Management System and ISO 45001 Occupational Health & Safety Managements System requirements;
- Competence in identifying hazards risks and understanding mitigation methods typically observed in a warehousing site;
- Good English communication skills, both oral and written;
- Supervisory abilities and planning capability;
- Ability to make presentations and write effective reports;
- Ability to work in team environments, communicate, understand, and work within the dynamics of a multi-functional department;
- Capacity to integrate with an international and national workforce;
- Team and self-motivation skills;
- Advanced skill level in MS Software packages such as MS Project, PowerPoint, Excel & Wordp;
- Strong commitment to safety and ability to educate and persuade personnel to adopt safety rules.
