Job Accountabilities:
- Reports to Company Materials Inspection and QA Supervisor / Lead Preservation Engineer and undertake associated duties;
- Performs daily warehousing and materials preservation activities;
- Checks all materials during storage, incoming and outgoing, leftover stock for technical specification and certification to ensure proper quantity and quality;
- Prepares all necessary documentation and keep relevant records and reports for materials preservation activities;
- Supports in identification, planning and implementation of improvement preservation programs;
- Verifies that all materials are recorded in ERP materials inventory systems with proper inspection and preservation data, supporting documents are available and attached for relevant transactions;
- Monitors condition of relevant materials for regular preservation and initiate appropriate actions to ensure materials are well preserved;
- Verifies safekeeping of all goods delivered to Company warehouse including goods allocation and storage in line with materials quantity and quality, weight and volume, typology, technical specifications, manufacturer storage and shelf-life requirements, hazardous classification, safety requirements, enforcement of the security and storage condition rules, and material movements documentation compliances.
Qualification requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree;
- Advanced professional level in Engineering and Logistics Warehousing Management desirable;
- 2-3 years of relevant experience in Maintenance, Materials Preservation, or Logistics Warehousing & Materials Management disciplines;
- Knowledge of warehousing & materials execution processes;
- Knowledge of materials and equipment classification and specification by discipline, includes piping, electrical, instrumentation, hazardous and dangerous goods, its technical characteristics, certification requirements for use in the Oil & Gas industry;
- Knowledge of materials quality inspection and preservation;
- Knowledge of RoK Cargo Transportation, Lifting operations, Dangerous Goods and Customs regulations;
- Knowledge of ISO 9001 Quality Management System, ISO 14001 Environmental Management System and ISO 45001 Occupational Health & Safety Managements System requirements;
- Knowledge of logistics systems and processes, preferably in the Oil & Gas industry;
- Competence in identifying hazards risks and understanding mitigation methods typically observed in a warehousing site;
- Good English communication skills, both oral and written;
- Ability to make presentations and write effective reports;
- Ability to work in team environments, communicate, understand, and work within the dynamics of a multi-functional department;
- Capacity to integrate with an international and national workforce;
- Supervisory abilities and planning capability;
- Team and self-motivation skills;
- Advanced skill level in MS Software packages such as MS Project, PowerPoint, Excel & Word;
- Strong commitment to safety and ability to educate and persuade personnel to adopt safety rules.
