Job Accountabilities:
- Reports to Company Waste Management Supervisor and undertake associated duties
- Supports to define, plan and prepare the Logistics Waste Management requirements for onshore operations
- Works with Environment team in research and development of the logistics data outcomes
- Supports in developing and implementation of Waste Management related work instruction, relevant systems, and processes
- Ensures that all waste is managed and disposed of in a manner which is compliant with RoK standards and Company HSE Policy and relevant Safety Management systems.
- Supervises onshore Logistics Waste Management Contractor’s personnel to ensure compliance with contract requirements
- Supports in monitoring Contractors’ performance, ensure that duty of care is fully implemented by all contractors involved in Waste Management activities.
Qualification requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Advanced professional level in Logistics and Environmental management desirable
- 3-5 years of relevant experience in Logistics Waste Management disciplines
- Thorough knowledge of RoK requirements related to waste classification, treatment, transportation, recycling and disposal
- Knowledge of ISO 9001 Quality Management System, ISO 14001 Environmental Management System and ISO 45001 Occupational Health & Safety Managements System requirements
- Knowledge of waste water treatment technology
- Knowledge of logistics systems and processes, preferably in the Oil & Gas Industry
- Good English communication skills, both oral and written
- Ability to make presentations and write effective reports
- Ability to work in team environments, communicate, understand and work within the dynamics of a multi-functional department
- Capacity to integrate with an international and national workforce
- Supervisory abilities and planning capability
- Team and self-motivation skills;
- Advanced skill level in MS Software packages such as MS Project, PowerPoint, Excel & Word;
- Strong commitment to safety and ability to educate and persuade personnel to adopt safety rules.
