Job Accountabilities:
- Reports to Company Safety Supervisor and undertake associated duties;
- Taking part in all HSE activities in accordance with Company HSE policies and procedures;
- Responsible for keeping, tracking, recording, and filling the SAFE-R database and GRUVI database;
- Prepares HSE related notifications and letters for submission to personnel;
- Responsible for planning and scheduling associated with Logistics Safety Management support to Onshore Operations and Maintenance activities;
- Supports internal communications and relations with personnel regarding HSE subject matter;
- Provides advice, and whenever necessary hands-on support, to the line in such activities as Job Hazard Analysis, Risk Assessment, environmental monitoring and Incident investigation and applicable corrective actions;
- Initiates and implement pro-active measures for continuous improvement of HSE performance within Logistics including contractor’s activities.
Qualification requirements:.
- Bachelor’s Degree;
- Advanced professional level in Safety Management desirable;
- 1-2 years of relevant experience in Logistics Safety management disciplines;
- Strong commitment to safety and ability to educate and persuade personnel to adopt safety rules;
- Good English communication skills, both oral and written;
- Knowledge of RoK Statutory Health, Safety & Environmental Laws/Regulations;
- Knowledge of RoK and international HSE codes, standards, rules and regulations;
- Knowledge of HSE information systems and ability to establish and maintain it;
- Knowledge of RoK Cargo Transportation, Lifting operations, Dangerous Goods regulations;
- Knowledge of ISO 9001 Quality Management System, ISO 14001 Environmental Management System and ISO 45001 Occupational Health & Safety Managements System requirements;
- Competent in identifying hazards and understanding mitigation methods typically found in Oil and Gas Industry or construction sites;
- Ability to make presentations and write effective reports;
- Ability to work in team environments, communicate, understand and work within the dynamics of a multi-functional department;
- Ability to work with minimum supervision and ability to establish and maintain good working relationships;
- Capacity to integrate with an international and national workforce;
- Supervisory abilities and planning capability;
- Team and self-motivation skills;
- Knowledge of occupational health, safety, environment and or quality management certification processes and of integrated management systems;
- Knowledge of logistics systems and processes, preferably in the Oil & Gas Industry;
- Advanced skill level in MS Software packages such as MS Project, PowerPoint, Excel & Word.
