Job Accountabilities:

  • Quantity forecasting to determine estimated final cost of measured work and quantity growth.
  • Monitor the logging of all contract related documentation into KPO data base, review the utilisation of database and other contracts related databases and reports to ensure correct implementation.
  • Review the estimate documentation received from contractors, and issue comments on its quality and accuracy to contract holders and their representatives.
  • Prepare estimates for additional works on ongoing projects and where required verify estimates for new projects.
  • Advise and assist Contract Administration Specialists in the development of new/additional contract rates and estimates.
  • Ensure contractors and subcontractors are in commercial compliance with contract terms and conditions and that the contract administration procedures are being followed.
  • Assist General Project Manager, Construction and Commissioning Manager with the analysis and resolution of contractor claims. Assist in the review and preparation of contract correspondence.
  • Provide support to the Civil, Mechanical and E&I Construction teams when required to effectively review the progress reports.

Qualification requirements:

  • engineer knowledge: engineering / construction knowledge in the engineer activity of quantity surveying;
  • contracting: ability to work within multi-national and multi-cultural environments, and the understanding of the client role;
  • organisation processes: internal standards, suppliers qualification methodology and techniques, feed-back development and diffusion, site materials and equipment organisation;
  • compliance: local/national and international standard and codes, health, safety, environment and quality;
  • plant design: discipline related;
  • 2 years experince;
  • Higher technical education;
  • English knowledge (Upper-Intermediate).
