Job Accountabilities:
This position has primary responsibility for Integrated Control and Safety System (ICSS) system, monitoring, maintenance, integrity, troubleshooting, and recovery in both engineering and lifecycle support phases.
Engineering:
Act as a Subject Matter Expert for all matters of Process Automation Systems and PCD Security;
Ensure Integrated Control and Safety System availability is in line with Operations requirements;
Contribute to the development of specific procedures, work instructions, work plans, inspection and testing schedules within ICSS;
Ensure the reliability, integrity, and security of systems hardware, software, networks through execution of system procedures, maintenance strategies;
Act as Discipline Engineer for Vendor Contracts for specific equipment as required;
Act as Discipline Engineer during Facility Automation System Lifecycle and Security Reviews;
Support ALL information links from Third party packages and PLC’s into the ICSS to include but not limited to fault finding; start-up and shutdown of serial and OPC links, managing switch configurations for internal and external LAN and WAN connections;
Participate in and support system design and upgrades of RTIMS, DCS, SIS, and 3rd Party Systems;
Provide technical assistance in implementation of new projects with respect to installation, troubleshooting, obsolescence, and start-up of equipment;
Participate in integrated commissioning tests, and check the handover and acceptance documentation; Interact with engineering and vender personnel on technical issues and provide recommendations;
Perform system software back-ups and restore, and data archiving activities;
Carry out regular auditing of system compliance, monitoring, station, and network loading reviews;
Validate Design As-Built Drawings and provide input via Document Control administration. Ensure that key drawings and documentation are kept up date;
Maintain overall ICSS security following COMPANY policies, and to support/implement further company initiatives to improve asset security; and,
Review proposed plant/facilities changes and assist with implementation as required.
Lifecycle support:
Prepare Maintenance/Testing plans, schedules and work instructions;
Execute Maintenance Strategies and Procedures for Facilities in compliance with RoK and company Standards;
Report the results of routine work and report any failures or abnormal operation of systems to the system owner;
Continuously improve ICSS related Preventative Maintenance Library (PML) Routines;
Enter and Execute SAP Preventative and Corrective Maintenance, including Campaign programs, in order to ensure Integrity, Safe and Reliable Operation and maximum Availability of the facilities;
Audit equipment histories and technical information in SAP as part of Technical Assurance;
Carry out Troubleshooting / Inspection to establish root causes of failure (RCFA) and prepare Corrective Maintenance plans and detailed schedules, including materials and manpower resources. Maintain a trip event and failure log record the causes of trip/failure and corrective actions implemented;
Manage and operate ICSS software change and version control;
Perform ICSS modifications in line with COMPANY management of change (MOC), Change Request, and Permit to Work (PTW) procedures;
Liaise with authority inspectors on the issues involving operation of process control systems of the facility;
Support Condition based maintenance tools installed on ICSS. Including but not limited to the BN System1 and instrument AMS. Assist company maintenance and reliability engineers in integrating, filtering, reporting and configuring these tools;
Responsible for identifying and standardizing spare parts requirements;
Contact Schneider Electric Customer Support for technology and telephone consultancy to support remote diagnostics;
Support and provide ad hoc onsite ICSS training for COMPANY system, technical, and maintenance personnel, in accordance with the instructions of COMPANY; and,
Oversee and Audit ICSS contractor execution.
Be on top of the latest technology in the area of ICSS and PCD/Cyber Security in order to bring improvements to Company.
Participate in industry forums related to PCD/Cyber Security and advise necessary updates to systems, standards and practices to ensure Сompany is sufficiently protected.
Qualification & Experience - Requirements:
Degree in Electrical, Computer, or Automation Engineering disciplines.
Experience
Minimum 6-8 years of Integrated Control & Safety Systems experience in a large, industrial facility; and,
Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience on Schneider Electric System (Foxboro, Triconex, Mesh architecture).
Required Competences:
Fluent spoken and written English language;
Proven complex problem solving skills with the ability to apply these skills in emergency situations;
Basic HSSE Skills with a commitment to safety;
Ability to work in a team environment, communicate, understand and work within the dynamics of a multi-functional, multi-cultural environment;
Skilled in Process Automation Systems design, operation, maintenance and troubleshooting;
Good knowledge of IT System Administration (Windows OS, Network, Wireless Communications);
Good knowledge of programming using high level and low level programming languages;
