Job Accountabilities:
Drive the construction and commissioning contractors with the preparation of their plans and procedures assuring they are both achievable and technically acceptable in-line with the project and legislative requirements.
Drive progress while maintaining HSSE & Quality performance
Drive HSSE performance and act as a Safety leader in his/her area of responsibility and emphasize behavioral imperatives and personal commitment in HSSE performance.
Monitoring and reporting status for construction, pre-commissioning, preservation and commissioning activities.
Review and Endorse discipline specific test records/reports and formal hand-over (MC/PC) documentation.
Contribute to the development, and maintenance of, commissioning estimation and planning documents.
Provide technical support and assistance to commissioning contractors in the execution of their designated activities.
Acting as focal point for material and equipment supplies control
To Collaborate with QA/QC Inspectors in order to guarantee the full respect of Project/Company documents
To ensure that during completion of construction phase all aspects required to complete the ITRs and all Acts have been issued by Contractor
Provide the required discipline input and support to the completion team for the formal (HC) hand-over process to the Operation Group
Provision of technical support and assistance to the Operations Group throughout the ‘Start-Up’ process.
Contribute and assist with the commissioning group’s continual improvement process and completion of the ‘close-out’ report.
Ensure that the necessary HSE review process is completed and that all identified actions are completed in a timely manner.
Ensure that the requisite RoK Permits, licenses have been obtained and any relevant compliance requirements have been adhered too.
To follow up the Hand Over process to Operation and Punch List closure
Monitor work progress and schedule of contractor’s activities to ensure that pertinent project schedule milestones are achieved. Ensure accurate and timely forecasting of activities.
Ensure that all relevant final project documentation in the specific discipline area is handed over to Company in a timely and orderly fashion meeting contractual requirements.

Qualification & Experience Requirements:
The job holder must have
Engineering Degree or minimum HNC or Recognized Craft/Technical Certification.
Minimum 5 Years Industry Experience
Experience in Senior Piping / Mechanical / Technical Role.

Required Competences:
The job holder must have proven:
Professional competencies and skills gained in the Piping / Mechanical systems associated to major O&G projects
Possess good technical, communicational and working skills
Have a Pro-active approach to team work and the decision making process.
Have a proven ability to integrate as part of a larger, multi-discipline, multi-cultural team on a technically demanding project
Be able to communicate clearly, work with and assist local staff in the development of their own careers and professions.
