Job Accountabilities:
Daily supervision of assigned staff including conducting Goal Setting Performance Appraisal (GSPA) and administering Individual Development Plans.
Actively support safe and environmentally sound activity and office workspace, while demonstrating the highest ethical standards and process controls consciousness
Fostering a collaborative, multi-cultural work environment where active, candid and constructive technical debates are both safe & expected
Adhere to established processes within the Company Management System with specific focus on the Reservoir Management Process and related Guidelines / Procedures.
Ensuring appropriate Reservoir Engineering technologies, work processes, and quality standards are implemented consistent with International Good Oilfield Practices
Ensuring Reservoir Engineering work products are fit-for-purpose for reservoir development studies and are delivered on schedule
Work with key contacts in various groups and Directorates to ensure effective interfaces with Reservoir Engineering team and timely delivery of work products including technical input and support to asset depletion, Development Planning and Technical Regulatory teams
Ensure successful interfaces with the TD Leadership Team, other Company Directorates, Co-Venture partners and the RoK authorities
Work with CoVs via TSA (IRC and/or Non-IRC) for required technical support including effective use of data, processes, and technology.
Develop and maintain strong working relationships with external Reservoir Engineering Subject Matter Experts among Co-Venture partners and RoK Authorities leveraging their strengths and expertise for benefit of the Operator
Facilitate the timely transfers of Reservoir Engineering information (with appropriate approvals) to both internal and external stakeholders following established procedures
Promote integration of Subsurface Department across Directorates
Direct support and involvement in AWP&B planning and budgeting activities for Reservoir Engineering function supporting development studies
Represent Reservoir Engineering function in internal and external events and meetings.
Qualification Requirements:
Minimum 6-8 years of professional work experience in the oil and gas industry with subsurface experience
University degree in engineering
Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary teams
Sound experience with host government and venture relationships.
Required Competences:
Ability to direct and coordinate multi-national and multi-disciplinary teams
Demonstrated Leadership, Interpersonal and Supervisory skills
Effective Communication skills, including a good command of the English language
Ability to recognize and act on the needs of the host government and co-venture partners
Effective at managing external relationships.
