Requirements:

• Degree in Geosciences/Petroleum Engineering or related disciplines.
• Professional experience of 0-3 years in a subsurface role in an Operator or Service company.
• Experience in subsurface data analysis and interpretation.
• Knowledge in loading data into Subsurface applications (Petrel, OpenWorks etc.).
Required Competences:
• Good communication skills;
• Ability to set priorities, communicate, deliver on tight deadlines;
• Proactive problem solver;
• Ability to work collaboratively in a multi-disciplinary integrated team environment;
• Knowledge and experience with data standards and data formats;
• Analytical skills.
• Trainings on industry standard applications such as Petrel, OpenWorks etc.;
• Fluent English (written and spoken), knowledge of Kazakh and/or Russian appreciated.

Responsibilities:

 Provide Venture and the Authorities with IM on technical subsurface data, specifically geosciences and drilling data and documents gathered on the NCSPSA contract area.
 Assure integrity, confidentiality and security of the subsurface technical data.
 Provide quality control, loading and maintenance of geosciences data and projects for the NCSPSA area.
 Implement and maintain Subsurface data management workflows and processes.
 Execute and test the installation of the subsurface information management systems.
 Arrange and prepare data for transfer to internal and external stakeholders.
 Enforce implementation of IM strategy, process and procedures for subsurface data & information management.
 Collaborate with Subsurface teams across the Company on utilizing the data management best-practices.
 Prepare technical reports, presentations and documents.
 Develop and apply a methodology of continuous improvement, using lessons learned and experience.
 Work with Technical Support team and engineers to improve existing process for managing data.
 Apply data analytics for process efficiencies and process automations.
Level III:
 Using established procedures and working under immediate supervision, perform assigned tasks.
 Work is routine and instructions are usually detailed.
 Basic evaluation, originality or ingenuity is required.
