Requirements:

Condition Monitoring Engineer II
 Mechanical engineering degree or relevant engineering, with 3 years experience in either engineering / maintenance/ operation background in Oil and Gas Industry;
 Basic knowledge in high speed complex rotating equipment and their maintenance techniques / strategies, repairs, diagnostics and fault analysis. (Multistage steam turbines, Gas Turbines, Centrifugal pumps, motors, gearboxes, turbo compressors, screw compressors, Extruders, Reciprocating Compressors etc.)
 Basic understanding in vibration data collection/analysis, lube oil analysis and Bently Nevada Systems.
 Familiar in various condition monitoring techniques and process
 Understand various failure modes and troubleshooting procedures; root cause analysis (RCA) and able to assist resolve engineering problems with supervision.

Required Competences:
 Good communication skills, both oral and written, including the ability to make presentations and write effective reports
 Fluently written and spoken English skills
 Ability to work in team environments, understand and work within the dynamics of a multi functional and multi location environment.
 Ability to develop, coach and motivate staff in deferent type of roles.
 Ability to analyze and find solutions to problems.
 Ability to perform tasks within established deadlines.
 High performance and personal attitude to achieve results.
 Ability to interact with staff and representatives of the leadership at all levels, as well as address various issues in accordance with the guidelines and policies.
 Basic understanding in Thermography Inspection and other NDT techniques.
 Good knowledge of SAP is required;
 Able to understand the Leadership skills in developing strategies to attain performance objectives.
 Familiar with Asset Maintenance & Integrity standards and practices;
 Able to comprehend Regulatory and procedural materials relevant for engineering (API, ISO, BS EN, etc).
 Knowledge of Kazakh and International regulations for hazardous facilities is preferably.

Responsibilities:

 Develop Condition Monitoring Strategy and Preventive Maintenance Procedures (PML) in compliance with Kazakh Regulations and Company Standards.
 Develop and implement a Predictive and Proactive condition based monitoring systems and deliver periodic equipment performance and condition assessment reporting.
 Provide expert analysis and support to the asset teams on the spread of condition assessment techniques.
 Identify and diagnose of developing defects in equipment. Where required to make visit to the assets to assist in data gathering and diagnosis.
 Carry out detailed analysis of condition based data in the event of equipment failures and perform repair works (such as equipment balancing) where assistance is required at site.
 Identify, propose and support the implementation of improved CBM techniques and best practices.
 System custodian for the Remote Monitoring Data Acquisition System (RDAS) and execute a program to verify the quality of data in the RDAS system.
 Determine and implement in RDAS the alarm levels for equipment condition based parameters.
 Manage and ensure availability of software alarms, machinery information, base lines data, start-up / shutdown data (for critical machines) and historical data in on line and offline machinery management systems.
 Review Online Vibration data and Thermodynamic performance of critical rotating machines and generate reports and trigger necessary actions .
 Provide monthly exception reports of condition based data for input to the monthly assest reliability report.
 Lead site condition monitoring teams and ensure quality, compliance & timeliness aspect of the activities as per relevant applicable procedures.
 Provide Advance Vibration Analysis support as and when required by the assets.
 Ensure Condition Monitroing tools (hardware and software) are available, well maintained and timely upgraded.
 Ensure participation and engagement of the team for RCA / RCM process as and when required by the assets.
 Assist engineering/maintenance Technical Authority TA1/2 for all issues related to condition monitoring systems.
 Act as Contract Holder for Condition Monitoring Contracts such as Bently Nevada Site Support Agreement and Advance Vibration Analysis. Define the scope of work and progress contracts for services related to condition monitoring activities.
 Ensure allocation and effective control of annual budgets for execution of Preventive and Predictive Maintenance Programs and a contingency for Corrective Maintenance.
