Requirements:

University degree (preferably MSc) in Petroleum Engineering or equivalent discipline
0- 2 years experience on wells completion engineering (including competences on reservoir aspects ).
Knowledge of problematic in sour environment.
Knowledge of carbonate reservoirs.
Knowledge of aspects tied with well operations in cold climate.
Required Competences:
The job holder must have proven:
Knowledge of materials and equipment needed for the typical well completion activities, in particular for deep, highly deviated, sour wells.
Knowledge of the well completion processes.
Aware of the advanced HSE management system requirements.
Capable to identify hazards and risks in relations to well operations and elaborate/propose mitigation actions.
Computer literate, with the scope of producing reports, and organise data.
Familiar with the technical software typical of well engineering disciplines.
Team player, capable of working with professionals from different organisations and lead the contracted service companies.
Understanding of H2S drilling/testing hazards, circulation losses problems, overpressure drilling.
Knowledge of drilling operational Well testing and completions techniques.
Good written and verbal communication skills and fluent in English language.

Responsibilities:

Prepare Completion, Testing, and Intervention programs in a timely and technically sound manner, complying with the Company’s policies and procedures.
Interface with Senior Completion Engineer and Well Completion and Intervention Superintendent during the preparation of operational programs.
Review the job done making sure is in compliance with existing procedures.
Based on sound engineering practices, support the preparation of detailed work programs for the activities to be executed (including engineering studies and verifications such as tubing stress analysis, completion design, hydraulic programme, etc., identifying of materials and equipment required for its implementation); ensure that detailed programs are duly authorised and shared/agreed upon with Contractors involved in the execution.
Support the preparation the budget for the activities and organize proper cost control and operations reporting system.
In co-ordination with the Completion, Testing, Intervention Superintendent and Completion/Well Testing Operation Engineer support the day by day well operations, ensuring that lessons learnt are systematically captured, recorded and incorporated in the future similar programmes in order to continuously improve the performances and safety of the well operations.
Liaise with Well Completion and Intervention Superintendent on all aspects of the well construction activities, in particular for those aspects related to information/data acquisition and validation.
Support Senior Completion Engineer in providing time and costs analysis ; timely report to the line responsible position on deviations from planned. Control that data and information from the well site are correct and consistent with operations on going, in order to ensure that reliable database is built.
Perform analyses as to evaluate current performances vs. planned/benchmark; Prepare relevant reports and propose actions whenever margins for improvement are identified.
