Requirements:

Bachelor degree in Engineering or Environmental Scientific;
Knowledge of RoK Environmental regulatory legislation, especially IEC requirements;
Strong knowledge of laboratory services;
3-5 years’ experience activity in oil and gas or mining industry;
At least 3 years’ experience in Environmental Department within Kashagan Project;
At least 2 years’ experience in Environmental Monitoring team;
Expects to have very good knowledge of the RoK environmental legislation and practices and experience in preparation of documents and reports, laboratory services;
Independent in judgment and working with stakeholders and has completed successfully several Industrial Environmental assignments;
Required Competences:
Good analytical, and documentation processing and control skills
Understanding of RoK Permitting and Regulatory law and procedures
Understanding of technical data and documentation and advise on compliance
Computer literate on Microsoft programs, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Project, GIS, LIMS, EQUIS, SAP;
Monitoring and knowledge on recording data and documentation;
Ability to work with minimum supervision on field and good knowledge on WRAP & TRIC;
Ability to identify the specific information needed to clarify a situation or to make a decision;
Knowing when to escalate critical issues to own or others' management, if own efforts to enlist support have not succeeded;
Ability to work under stress with limited deadline on several work task in parallel;
Ability to work in an multicultural, multinational team;
Kazakh, Russian and English languages, writing and speaking.

Responsibilities:

Development of Industrial Environmental Control Program in compliance with MPE, MPD, WUP Projects, Procedures in compliance with RoK Legislation;
Ensure fully Implementation of Industrial environmental Control (Monitoring) activities including internal inspection, arranging and accompany field works in time;
Preparation of IEC Report, Impact monitoring and other quarterly and annual reports and ensure timely submission to State Environmental authorities;
Timely monitor, track, analyze & submit emissions monitoring data. Ensure emissions are within the limits declared in Emissions Permits. Inform Operations in case of over limit results and collaboratively develop solution plan to avoid over limits and as a result eliminate unnecessary fines from regulatory bodies. On basis of obtained results ensure assistance in development and review of emissions standards, MPD, MPE setting projects;
Conduct quality control audit of provided laboratory services, site visit, setting appropriate approach, development / updating and implementation of required procedures describing step by step actions;
Collect, analyze monitoring data to improve environmental protection, eliminate, minimize or prevent environmental pollution based on monitoring outcome data and make proposal considering best practices of domestic and foreign organizations;
Systematize and keep / archive monitoring data income/outcome data in electronic and hard copy and provide upon request;
Inform State Authority about over limit results of MPD, MPE, any violations after approval of EP Manager;
Development of prospective and current plans of Industrial Environmental Control, their implementation and prepare analytical reports to Management;
Contractors’ coordination in terms of monitoring activities, including Emergency monitoring, Environmental internal inspections, assists in State Authority Inspections;
Review, analyse and prepare letters, answers of correspondence from and to RoK environmental authorities, disputed fact when requested in course of State environmental inspections;
Conduct outreach activities related to IEC & Biodiversity in schools, high education centers in the region and give conduct workshops or presentation in Company.
