JOB DUTIES

  • Administering the ongoing IT&T Service Support Projects
  • Coordination of the activities of dedicated Project specialists to ensure the project goals achieved
  • Manage IT equipment installation projects as per KPO standard operating procedures, liaise with Service Support Section Head to arrange priorities.
  • Arrange hardware and software installation according to the defined plans.
  • Perform IT systems update and upgrade tasks.
  • Inform Service Support Section Head and IT Services and Telecommunications Manager in case of significant delays in project plans.
  • Supervise IT Support Specialists activity in accordance with project plans on a day-to-day basis.
  • Liaise with other sections to coordinate intersection projects as defined by Service Support Section Head.
  • Undertake ad hoc projects as defined by Service Support Section Heads.
  • Maintain project documentation and schedules as defined by Service Support Section Head.
  • Prepare projects delivery progress reports.
  • Work closely with Supervisors and IT Support Engineers/Specialists in the section to ensure delivery of projects as per agreed plans

Necessary knowledge

  • project management methodology covering project life cycles, stages, gateways, overall and detailed plans, and project support and administration activities;
  • project objectives, proposals;
  • work and product breakdown structures;
  • configuration management;
  • normative and methodical materials on entities of automated control system of the enterprise;
  • outlooks of progressing enterprise;
  • the organization of planning and operating control by production;
  • patterns of the enterprise, manufacturing and function connections between departments;
  • Higher education in IT&T area and not less than 4 years of work experience in the position of an IT Project Specialist/Engineer.
  • Minimum English level for all candidates should be Upper Intermediate or Fluent.
