Qualification & Experience Requirements:
Level II:
 Engineering degree with 3 years of experience in Data Management and Data Strategy.
 Knowledge in discipline of Standards, Standardization, Variety Control & Cataloguing.
 Awareness of Law & Regulation in region/country.
 Knowledge of Supply Chain, Logistics, Services processes and application of Material & Service Masters within realm of Business needs.
 Experience in Shell organization and way of working (Pre)
 Skill pool: Engineering/Services.
 Specialist area: Experience in Material management / Standardization / Data management / Quality management with specialism in production facilities, Engineering/Services.
 Hardware: overall awareness of Equipment, Systems, Materials and Tools used in the industry sector, with extensive in-depth knowledge in majority of commodities and knowledge of local specialties and field/plant conditions.
 Industry; Oil & Gas industry.

Required Competences:
 Ability to effectively communicate.
 Analytical skills and open to different views and opinions with the ability to explore different approaches.
 Ability to participate in business projects with a significant IT component.
 Multi-disciplinary team-working and networking, including working across cultures and communicating effectively in English.
 Good inter-personal skills.
 Quality / Data-integrity / Customer / Business driven, PC literacy and knowledge of MS Office suite of desktop applications and related documentation and reporting skills.

Job Accountabilities:
 Assigned commodities: (Selected commodity groups)
 Standardization Engineer will work for Company  through:
 Review, process and housekeep Standard Master data requests within SLA , with approval of and/or guidance
from the Technical Authority to meet Mandatory Technical Standards, Variety Control, Law & Regulation,
Integrity and HSE Standards.
 Applying Company Data Quality Standards/Group Big Rules.
 Support reporting on Material & Service request KPI’s and Housekeeping.
 Contribute to Material & Service Master harmonization, standardization and variety control initiatives on POD,
Wells and Venture Level.
 Observe impact on the Material Masters catalogue in case of new Service Master requests.
 Maximize use of external (e.g. ISO, Industry sector) Standards and Specifications for Service Masters.
 Maximize use of Vendor Managed Catalogue Content.
 Customer support for assigned commodities.
 Stimulate the embedding of the use of Technical Standards & Master data in daily business.
 Standardization Engineer will be, responsible for the Service Masters.
