Requirements:
· University degree in Engineering covering Fluid Dynamics and/or Instrumentation
· Design, operating principles and specifications of metering equipment.
· Metering equipment installation, adjustment, modification, maintenance and repair methods
· At least 3 years instrumentation experience in either engineering or maintenance of metering

Responsibilities:
· Develop pan asset Maintenance Strategies and Procedures for company metering systems in compliance with Kazakh Regulations and company adopted Standards (including Shell and adopted International standards).
· Ensure implementation of approved strategies and procedures across all company assets.
· Update Metering Inventory List which captures all metering classes available in Kashagan operation.
· Review and improve existing strategies and procedures in timely manner as per latest technical and maintenance requirements. Keep up to date with PML revisions and update local document accordingly.
· Support & champion implementation of SAP Maintenance Programs, including Campaign programs, in order to ensure Integrity, Safe and Reliable Operation and maximum availability of the facilities.
· Access and Identify spare parts and consumables required for reliable operation of the company metering systems and raise Material Master requests for such.
· Review the Quality of Execution of maintenance activities such that Preventive Maintenance, Inspections and Corrective Maintenance job routines are executed in accordance with the agreed work management plans at World-class Standards.
· Constantly communicate company requirements for World-class Standards to the maintenance personnel on assets.
· In cooperation with company Chief Metrologist and Metering Custodian develops detailed equipment Inspection and Testing Procedures and ensure that Testing and Certification of equipment is carried out in compliance with Kazakh Regulations and company Standards.
· Proactively Manage and Control Inventory of Materials and Spare Parts, ensure that Spare Parts and Material Purchase Orders have been prepared in time in SAP and monitor that Materials are supplied well in advance of the scheduled execution.
· Carry out Troubleshooting / Inspection to establish root causes of failure (RCFA) and prepare Corrective Maintenance plans and detailed schedules, including materials and manpower resources.
· Participate in integrated commissioning tests, check the handover and acceptance documentation, and approve drawings;
· Liaise with authority inspectors on the issues involving metering systems;
· Participate in the integrated activity planning process, review 14 days, 90 days, and 52 weeks plans and provide input;
· Proactively working on implementation of methods of condition monitoring and condition based maintenance in order to improve metering systems integrity, reliability and achieve cost effective operation and maintenance.
· In case of equipment failure and parts defects ensure manufacture and suppliers participation in;
o Root cause analysis
o Corrective or preventive measures development
· Support Contract Holder for selected contracts. In this role be responsible for the initiation, award, execution and completion of the contracts.
· Participates in complex Process Safety incident investigations related to discipline
· Promotes Process Safety and shares learnings from Process Safety incidents across the organization
· Provides innovative solutions for complex problems using, at time, incomplete information
· Contributes new ideas and identifies opportunities to improve efficiency of business processes and to improve value delivery to projects
· Identify, analyze & promote improvement opportunities to optimize equipment capacity & performance
· Reviews operational issues and formulates proposals to improve MTBF and MTTR in a cost effective manner
· Undertakes tasks and projects of moderate complexity
· Design, engineer, construct and commission modifications and projects to appropriate technical and RoK standards
· Assists in the management of technical interfaces with contractors and vendors
· Ensures high quality critical as-built documents and drawings related to the discipline for Company assets and for all projects
· Develops effective working relationships with relevant disciplines and customers
· Acts as role model to promote strong service culture
· Visits Company onshore and offshore facilities to build a strong asset intimacy
Level II:
· Under supervision, performs work that is varied and that may be somewhat difficult in character, but usually involves limited responsibilities.
· Some evaluation, originality or ingenuity is required.
