Requirements:

Engineering degree or similar certification.
Minimum 8-10 years’ experience in the Oil and Gas industry.
Track record in a leadership role in an Oil and gas operation.
Experience in Project management and operations.
Strong commitment to safety.
Strong leader able to set direction for work teams and hold persons accountable for results.
Good written and verbal communication skills.
Able to lead and work within the dynamics of a multi-functional, multi-cultural, and multi locational work environment.
Able to lead without direct authority to get results.
Good communication skills, both oral and written, including the ability to make presentations and write effective reports.
Self-starter who is able to effectively set and deliver against their own priorities within the context of the current and planned workload.
Capacity to integrate within an international and national workforce.
Ability to lead and coach international and national staff.
Problem solving and analytical skills.
Managerial/Supervisory abilities.
Knowledge of local and international codes and regulations regarding projects delivery and requirements.
Computer literate.
Fluent written and spoken English.

Responsibilities:

Oversee, direct, and organize the work of the teams.
Proven performance and capability to operate independently in own discipline.
Promote a culture of high performance and continuous improvement that values learning and a commitment to quality.
Establish and monitor staff performance and development goals, assign accountabilities, set objectives, establish priorities, conduct annual performance appraisals.
Mentor and develop staff using a supportive and collaborative approach, monitor and evaluate results.

Primary Project Management interface for:
Ensuring resourcing available or can be made available for successful Project (not an exhaustive list):
- HAZOPS
- QRAs
- Technical reviews.
- Execution integration with ongoing Operations.
Ensuring all projects process/procedures have proper sign off or notification to POD.
Ensuring proper commissioning support provided from Operations/Maintenance disciplines.
Integration of appropriate project scopes into TAR/ Slowdown windows.
IAP inputs and optimizations with other Operational items.
Endorsing/Approving Project documents on behalf of POD.
