Requirements:

 Appropriate education and holding a diploma from a certified Technical School, College or University ,refrigerant machine is preferable
 The following experience record is seen as a minimum:
 Minimum 4 years working experience in Oil & Gas industries.
 Sound knowledge of HVAC equipment i.e. fans, compressors, chillers, dampers (fire, gas tight, etc), chemical filters, standard filters, pressure sensors, valves, pumps, humidifiers, heat exchangers, motors, refrigerants etc. Machinery diagnosis and basic PLC knowledge would also be an advantage.
 Commissioning experience of HVAC systems would be a credible advantage.
 Able to troubleshoot, analyze and resolve HVAC problems independently.
 Knowledge and application of HVAC and maintenance techniques
 Experience with control systems of HVAC
 Experience at managing safety within area of responsibility
 SAP knowledge and experience
 Supervisory experience will be an advantage
 Proven Skill in onshore or offshore maintenance execution within discipline, including work planning and preparation in SAP and coaching junior technicians is an advantage
Required Competences:
The job holder must have proven:
 Good communication skills, both oral and written
 English language skills are welcome but not mandatory
 Proven problem solving skills with the ability to apply these skills in emergency situations
 Knowledge of HVAC troubleshooting skills.
 Ability to work in a team environment, communicate, understand and work within the dynamics of a multi functional, multi cultural environment.

Responsibilities:

 Carry out assigned routine, preventative and breakdown HVAC maintenance activities according to the relevant Company and Statutory safety requirements are adhered to in all Maintenance activities;
 Completion of work following of MIE process, transfer knowledge of MIE process to less experience staff;
 Completion and submitting of necessary reports and documents regarding HVAC maintenance;
 Produce when required monthly exception reports of condition based data for input to the monthly reliability reports.
 Verify Original Equipment Manufacturer recommendations when based on HVAC assessments.
 Assist when required the Materials coordinators for verification of parts and equipment.
 Skilled HVAC Work Certificates for different types of HVAC work – Refrigeration, Fuel Gas, Electrical Safety Rules;
 Ensure work permits are completed accurately with adequate risk assessment and that all safety precautions are followed prior to any work intervention on the facilities;
 Carry out preparation and follow up of the preservation program.
 Assist, as required, in emergency response situations that may arise on the plant;
 Promote and assure the continuous improvement of the maintenance process following the field feedback;
 Give support to work preparation, planning and scheduling activities, including Campaign Maintenance;
 To develop his technically accountability for HVAC systems under his area of responsibility;
 Ensuring the correct level of electrical and mechanical isolation is implemented on low voltage systems only related to HVAC systems;
 Able to analyze root cause of HVAC (mechanical, instrument, refrigeration, electrical) trips;
 Identifying materials, tools and spare part requirements needed to carry out the activities, maintain stock levels;
 Ensuring the provision of adequate resources to carry out activities e.g. special tools and materials for the technicians and/or additional specialist maintenance support.
