Requirements:

6-8 years’ experience out of which at least 3 years in the oil and gas industry or planning role.
Engineering degree or equivalent Technical Qualification with relevant industry experience

In these cases without changing the job title, Employer can assign to Employee the fulfilment of other work responsibilities stipulated by other job characteristics but similar on work content and equal on complexity, which do not require other specialty and qualification, and do not contradict with safety rules.
Good Computer skills, including MS Office and Primavera planning software.

Responsibilities:

Provide project management support in the development of the activities, logic, resources and progress of the integrated project schedule, leading to the creation of the baseline schedule and its subsequent maintenance.
Develop and Maintain Project Plans and schedules, using standard business software such as Primavera P3e/P6.
Schedule control activities to monitor physical progress against key deliverables and track trends on schedule over-under runs and use such trending information to identify timely corrective actions to maintain schedule.
Assess the impact of approved changes and any deviations from the key project targets and milestones, including productivity monitoring and “What if scenarios” to aid project management decision-making.
Develop the contract key dates, milestones and Shell plan dates for alignment with the overall integrated plan, in evaluating bid schedules and in reviewing contractor plans to support contract award recommendations. Verify that the contractors reported progress is correct and accurately reflected in the project’s integrated plan.
Apply probabilistic techniques to determine and communicate the possible range of schedule completion dates for the project. This will include tracking schedule risk mitigation efforts, the criticality of the main paths to completion, float consumption and the release of the 50/50 schedule contingency.
Advise Project Team Leader of deviations to plan, and be prepared to recommend corrective action to maintain the schedule.
Provide the Project Service Manager & Project Manager with monthly progress updates, forecast completions, together with the critical path and trend analyses.
Assurance role for compliance to Project Controls Plan aligned to Project Guides & Standards
Create demonstrable value for customers by understanding their drivers and critical success factors
Deliver continuously improving performance, benchmarked as top tier in the industry
Ensure own discipline engineering is successfully delivered and appropriate reviews conducted
Contribute to excellent HSE performance throughout the project life cycle
Maintain effective interfaces and relationships within/between disciplines, and peers in other Company Projects teams and Customer OU’s.
