Job Accountabilities:

 

·         Support to Upstream  Agreements Manager to  identify and put in place the Commercial Strategy for the development of Company agreements such as MOU’s, HOA’s, JOA’s, PSA Amendments, settlements, transportation, sales of products, etc

·         For specific work streams and subjects of the Commercial Strategy,  assigned by the Upstream  Agreements Manager:

o    Collect the contribution from different Company disciplines (Technical, Financial, Legal), facilitate the alignment among such disciplines and define the guidelines for the structure of the agreement and/or the set of agreements needed to address the Commercial Strategy

o    Facilitate the discussion with Contracting Companies to get an alignment on the Contracting Strategy as well as the content of the agreements

o    Lead negotiations with third parties, including with authorities and PSA where appropriate (e.g., LPG and gas sales negotiations, third party sour gas supply, license extensions, asset retention)

o    Support Legal Directorate in drafting the agreements

o    Takeover and/ or provide enhanced support for commercial work scope handled by CoV experts (e.g., cost recovery negotiations, license extensions)

o    To serve on or chair external task forces and working groups required to develop commercial solutions and agreements to facilitate Company business.

·         Undertake risk management and assessment activities for the area of responsibility

Qualification Requirements:

·         Higher professional (financial -legal) education

·         More than 5 years of professional experience in Commercial or Legal function in oil & gas industry

·         Experience in dealing with multiple interfaces within the company as well as externally

Required Competencies:

The job holder must have:

·         Skilled in Oil and Gas Commercial or Legal matters and contracts

·         Proficient in both written and verbal English communication; knowledge of Russian a significant advantage

·         Ability to engage with a wide spectrum of stakeholders on technical, commercial and management issues

·         Strong negotiating and influencing skills

·         Strong knowledge and background in contracting agreements and commercial design

·         Team player, competent to lead or participate in complex studies or processes with other disciplines

·         Recognize the value of diversity and be able to manage the sensitivities of a diverse workforce

·         High self-motivating and ability to achieve stated objectives

·         Capable of defining and implementing change

·         Good ability to analyze and synthesize many sources of information

·         Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Excellent listening skills

·         Strong capability to Identify  and solve problems

·         Strong consulting, problem solving and analytical skills
