Job Accountabilities:

• Internal/External coating inspection of the pressure vessels, tanks, pipes and pipelines , at normal operation period/ plant turnaround.
• To review Coating
• Supervise the CONTRACTOR and Subcontractor activities of implementation of various COMPANY Specification during the production
• To monitor and control all CONTRACTOR and Subcontractor Inspection Activities (Surface preparation Blasting and Painting to ensure and check abrasive, surface profile, coating, environmental and perform test such as Holiday test, Adhesion test (after the coating process will quantify the strength of the bond between substrate & coating).
• To review & verify with COMPANY all works completed successfully and ensure that Report/Record as per COMPANY Specification and Fabrication
• To control calibration interval, calibration status and inhouse calibration of To review & compile all field blasting and painting record for Manufacturing Data Report (MDR) or project documentation for turnover document COMPANY.

Required Competences:

• Minimum: 5 years of experience in Protective Coating
• Minimum: NACE Level I coating inspector or BGAS painting
• Familiar with codes ANSI, SSPC, ASTM, NACE, AWWA, ISO, AS
• Minimum: able to communicate (both written and spoken) in English
• Minimum: capable of producing inspection reports and provide recommendations, produce/update internal procedures for coating, presentations using MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). All documentation is in English.
